Downton Abbey Devours Human Emotion
Downton Abbey is destroying my life and I love it.
Ask me anything

Here’s what I think about the order of events and why:
Sir Richard makes some allusion to Mary’s past Turkish Delight, calling her a whore or something, and Matthew punches him in the face.
In the scene where they are outside and Matthew says, “You must not marry him,” they both look flustered, I noticed that Mary’s jacket isn’t completely done up in this scene, indicating they went outside in a rush— so I think it promptly follows the punching scene.
This is the scene we see Matthew walking away from looking extremely upset.
I THINK she tells him after he punches Sir Richard.
It would be logical for her to feel forced to tell him the truth under such circumstances.
My blog is becoming more of a Dan Stevens Devotional than anything else.

I figured out what it is about Matthew that I find so sexy.
It’s his voice.
This is perfect for Downton Abbey.
Oh Mary and Matthew…
I’m more excited for the Downton Abbey Christmas Special than I am for Christmas itself.
